About RWC

The UCF Recreation and Wellness Center (RWC), which opened in 2002 and was expanded in 2010, comprises many programs, such as Intramural Sports, Sport Clubs, Outdoor Adventure, Fitness, and Aquatics.

The RWC also includes various facilities such as the Climbing Tower, Tennis Courts, Sand Volleyball Courts, RWC Park, Lake Claire, Challenge Course, and a Disc Golf Course. The RWC also has a satellite fitness center, RWC @ Downtown (Second Floor of the Union West Building at the downtown campus).

The RWC is open to all currently enrolled students, and paid memberships are available for non-students.

The RWC is also home to Wellness and Health Promotions (WHPS) which offers a wide variety of services and programs aimed at helping all UCF students be healthy knights! We promote healthy lifestyle habits associated with a higher academic performance by providing outreach and educational workshops on safe sex, nutrition, stress management, sleep, healthy relationships, and body image. To support student safety, we provide HIV Testing and Risk Reduction Counseling. We offer Biofeedback assisted relaxation training to help students manage stress.
