All Day: Due to a Special Event Group Exercise Classes: Lower Body Blast-9:30am, Upper Body Blast-10:00am, Total Core: 10:30am, and Zumba 11:15am, have been moved to the Mutlpurpose Room (#245) on Saturday 2/24/2018.
The group exercise studios host the more than 100 classes offered weekly at the Recreation and Wellness Center. Most of the classes ranging from Kickboxing to Zumba meet in the main group exercise studio and the multipurpose room, while our Cycle studio hosts our Cycle classes. Mind-body classes such as Yoga take place at RWC @ Knights Plaza on the north end of campus.
The main group exercise room is over 3,000 sq. ft. and hosts the majority of the group exercise classes. People can enjoy classes such as yoga, body sculpting and Zumba in this 3-sided mirror studio. This room is located on the first floor of the Recreation and Wellness Center by the multipurpose courts.
The multipurpose purpose room is over 2,000 sq. ft. and can serve many functions. This room is equipped to be a group exercise studio, a sport club practice facility and a classroom. The multipurpose room is located on the second floor past the cardio equipment, across the hall from the terrace.
The Cycle studio is about 1,400 sq. ft. and is the room designated for Cycle classes.The studio is located on the first floor near the climbing tower.
Participation in Recreation and Wellness Center programs is completely voluntary. Individuals participate at their own risk and assume responsibility for their own health and safety.
