Leisure Pool

The Leisure Pool is located on the east side of the Recreation and Wellness Center. It has 186,000 gallons of water and is a zero entry pool to 5 feet deep. A wheelchair designed specifically for the pool is available for use upon request.

Thor Guard

A Component of Risk Management

The RWC has installed a lightning prediction system called Thor Guard. The system, when lightning is predicted, activates a series of horns and strobe lights to warn those working outside to seek shelter immediately.

It is strongly recommended that all participants consult a physician and/or have a physical exam prior to participation. The University of Central Florida does not provide personal accident/health insurance. Therefore, participants are urged to secure their own insurance.
