Aquatics
The Recreation and Wellness Center has two pools: a leisure pool and an outdoor lap pool. The Aquatics program offers swim lessons, lifeguard tryouts, and SCUBA certifications. The Aquatics program also hosts two Splashdown events a year.
The lap pool consists of nine lanes, ranging from a shallow area to 10’ in depth. The lap pool is heated and can host swim meets and men’s and women’s water polo. In conjunction with Outdoor Adventure, SCUBA lessons are taught lap pool. Experienced swimmers may take advantage of our diving blocks.
The leisure pool is open February to November and is located east of the Recreation and Wellness Center. The pool offers different activities such as water volleyball, water basketball, or an opportunity to lay and enjoy the Florida sun.
