The Outdoor Adventure Trips Program provides students an opportunity to enhance their experience at UCF by providing fun and enriching outdoor experiences. From 1-day excursions to week-long expeditions, Outdoor Adventures offers a variety of trips for students to choose from.
The UCF Challenge Course program is committed to enhance team-building, self-confidence, and leadership development through adventure-based learning experiences.
Belay sessions are offered to anyone who wants to learn how to belay. Belaying is a technique where a rope is secured to a person as they climb up the tower. Learning the proper belay techniques allow a student to help a friend safely climb the tower.
All rental equipment and resource materials are available to UCF students and current RWC members at the Outdoor Adventure Center (OAC).
Students who want to enjoy the outdoors on their own can take advantage of Lake Claire, which offers equipment and water vessel checkouts.
Outdoor Adventure offers Open Water SCUBA certifications courses.
