The Recreation and Wellness Center is pleased to partner with the Student Government Association, Student Outreach Services and Regional Campus Administration offices to extend our services to students on the Regional Campuses.
For many campuses, the RWC has created an agreement for UCF students to utilize local fitness facilities at no additional cost to the student. Additional programming is also offered for regional campus students that mirror opportunities available at the Orlando campus. Check out the links below for more information for each campus.
The Recreation & Wellness Center partners with the YMCA I-Drive Aquatic Center in order to provide a fitness facility at no additional cost to students currently enrolled at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management. The YMCA Aquatic Center is a unique YMCA facility as it offers 3 different pools and a variety of aquatic programming including water polo, diving, synchronized swimming, and swim lessons. In addition to the partnership with the YMCA Aquatic Center, the RWC also offers recreation related programs on the Rosen campus. Check out the schedule of events for more information.
The Recreation & Wellness Center provides memberships to the Cocoa YMCA Family Center at Brevard Community College for all currently enrolled UCF-Cocoa students. The Cocoa YMCA has a wide variety of member and youth programs consisting of Personal Trainers, Aerobic and cycling classes, Child Development, Teen Center activities, Karate, new Cybex cardio and weight equipment, and water fitness classes for all ages. In addition, the RWC offers recreation related programs and activities on the UCF-Cocoa campus as an extension of services offered in Orlando. Check out the schedule of events for more information.
The Recreation & Wellness Center provides memberships to the Daytona State College L. Gale Lemerand Fitness Center for all UCF-Daytona students. The Fitness Center, housed in the Lemerand Center, is located on the Daytona State Campus in building 310. It is completely equipped with, state-of-the-art weight training and aerobic equipment. Airdynes and exercise equipment for the physically challenged are also available.
The Recreation and Wellness Center provides memberships to the Elite Fitness Center on Malabar Rd. in Palm Bay, FL for all currently enrolled UCF-Palm Bay students. Located approximately 2 miles from the UCF-Palm Bay campus, this fitness facility features a large selection of Life Fitness, Hammer Strength, cardio equipment and free weights, a full group exercise schedule, free childcare, free personal training orientation with membership, and 24-hour facility hours every weekday.
The newest addition to our Regional Recreation program, the Recreation and Wellness Center now provides memberships to the J. Douglas Williams YMCA Family Center in Lake Mary, FL for all currently enrolled UCF-Sanford/Lake Mary students. The J. Douglas Williams YMCA offers an outdoor pool (open year round), wellness center, gymnasium, youth room, and child development center.
The Recreation & Wellness Center provides memberships to the National Training Center in Clermont, FL for all currently enrolled UCF-South Lake students. The National Training Center is a 300-acre sports, health, fitness and education campus which is unique not only throughout the state of Florida, but also throughout the world. The NTC unites world-class sports and athletic facilities with a hospital, medical office buildings, community college and four-year University.
The Recreation & Wellness Center provides memberships to the Planet Fitness (Metro West) for all currently enrolled UCF-Valencia West students. Planet Fitness is dedicated to providing a unique environment in which anyone can be comfortable. They promote a diverse, Judgement Free Zone where a lasting, active lifestyle can be built.
Participation in Recreation and Wellness Center programs is completely voluntary. Individuals participate at their own risk and assume responsibility for their own health and safety.
