CPR and First Aid

The Recreation and Wellness Center offers First Aid and Certification classes to UCF students through American Red Cross CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and/or AED (automated external defibrillator).

Classes are designed to teach people how to perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). It helps people to know what to do when someone is choking and how to prevent and respond to other emergencies until medical help arrives. The course also teaches on how to control bleeding as well as how to take care of people having seizures and other sudden illnesses.

Sign up for classes in the Administration Office for $19.00 prior to the class. Students who sign up but fail to attend class will be charged $30.00 to re-take the class due to limited number of spaces.

American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Air Certifications are valid for two (2) years from the date of the course. All classes are located in the RWC wet classroom on the first floor.
