The Recreation and Wellness Center offers First Aid and Certification classes to UCF students through American Red Cross CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and/or AED (automated external defibrillator).
Classes are designed to teach people how to perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). The course also teaches on how to control bleeding as well as how to take care of individuals having seizures and other sudden illnesses.
A current list of classes is located in the calendar on the right. Sign up for classes in the RWC Administration Office for $20.00 prior to the class. Students who sign up but fail to attend class will be charged $30.00 to re-take the class due to limited number of spaces.
American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Certifications are valid for two (2) years from the date of the course. All classes are located in the RWC wet classroom on the first floor.
