Admin Office Assistant


Primary Function

To provide a positive and quality experience while on shift. As an admin office assistant, you will be the front line for our customers. You will be providing excellent customer service to all patrons, which include UCF students, faculty/staff, and guests.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answering phones related to general questions regarding the services offered at the RWC.
  • Renewing and signing up new members which include collecting payments.
  • Collecting payments from patrons for additional services offered at the RWC.
  • Keeping database current by updating and extracting inactive members to proper files.
  • Educate, model, and monitor policies.
  • Attend and be punctual for all scheduled shifts and meetings.
  • Maintain professionalism in appearance and attitude.
  • Maintain positivity when the workplace becomes hectic and/or stressful.
  • Be able to perform emergency action procedures in the event of an emergency.
  • Continue to increase in knowledge of all RWC areas.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must possess effective communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Must have good customer service skills.
  • Must be aware of the guests’ needs.
  • Must be willing to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience in handling money is preferred.
  • Current American Red Cross CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications or must obtain within thirty days of employment and familiarity with emergency procedures.
