In Phase I of our reopening plan, the RWC will make available several outdoor recreation facilities as well as the continuation of our RWC+ virtual program offerings.t
In Phase 1 the RWC Park will feature artificial turf lighted fields 1-6 and Disc Course use. The grass fields, and the baseball/softball field will open up in later phases of our plan. Those phases will allow for adjusted operations of indoor facilities in accordance with UCF’s fall reopening plans.
The park is located on the south end of campus near Housing and Residence life and behind the Barbara Ying Center.
Reservations ARE NOT currently available at the RWC Park

Out of an abundance of caution and to allow the RWC to continue to offer this outdoor space for users to get exercise outside, limiting groups for outdoor sports play decreases the number of other students you can come in contact with. These capacity limits have been approved by UCF’s public health experts.
The green grass blades are made out of a polyethylene fiber which is "infilled" with a 70% rubber and 30% sand mixture. The entire turf system is manufactured by Sportexe, which currently has fields at M & T Bank Stadium (Home of the Baltimore Ravens) and the Louisiana Superdome (Home of the New Orleans Saints). You'll be playing on the same exact surface as NFL teams as well as several college stadiums.
