Aquatics

The Recreation and Wellness Center has two pools: the Leisure Pool and Lap Pool. The Aquatics program offers swim lessons, lifeguard tryouts, and many special events..

The Lap Pool consists of nine lanes, ranging from a shallow area of 3.5 ft to 10ft. The Lap Pool is heated and open year round. It can host lap lane reservations, swim meets and men’s and women’s water polo. In conjunction with Outdoor Adventure, SCUBA certification classes are taught at the Lap Pool. Experienced swimmers may take advantage of the diving blocks.

The Leisure Pool is open February through October and is located east of the Recreation and Wellness Center. The pool offers different activities such as water volleyball, water basketball, and table tennis or an opportunity to lay and enjoy the Florida sun.
