Group Exercise offers a wide variety of fitness classes conducted by nationally certified instructors. Various formats offered include but are not limited to resistance training, mind/body, cardiovascular endurance, plyometrics, and cycling.

If for any reason you are unable to attend the class you registered for, we ask that you kindly cancel your reservation. Since our Group Exercise classes have reservations, canceling your spot will mean giving someone else the opportunity to attend.

How to cancel:

  1. Visit
  2. Login with your NID and NID Password.
  3. Once logged in, click your NID in the top right corner of the screen.
  4. A drop down box will appear—click “profile”
  5. On the left hand side, select “Programs” and then “Registrations”
  6. Find the class you wish you cancel and select the three yellow dots on the far right side.
  7. Select “Cancel Registration” from the drop down menu.

Reservations are not required however due to the popularity of many formats, it is highly recommended. Participants who reserve a spot online can do so 24 hours before the start of any class and must arrive 15 minutes early to secure their space in the class.

You may arrive prior to a class if you did not make a reservation and will be admitted on a space-available basis once participants with reservations have been checked in.

To make a reservation:

  1. Click on the reservation link below and click the "log in" link on the top right-hand side
  2. Select the orange "Sign in with UCF NID" button on the right-hand side and sign in with your credentials
  3. Select the class title and then click "Register" for any available classes in the next 24 hours. The number of open spots available will be listed.
  4. Click checkout (There is no cost for Group Exercise classes, so the charge will be listed as $0.00)

You are now registered! All classes are 30-55 minutes in length unless otherwise noted. Please bring a towel and water bottle. If you make a reservation and decide you cannot make it for your workout, please cancel your reservation to open up a spot for another Knight. Cancellations must be made at least 1 hour prior to class.

Take your first step into the fitness industry by registering for our Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, or “AFAA” Group Exercise Certification Course.  This 12-day prep course will teach you what you need to know for the AFAA Group Exercise Certification Exam and how to become a Group Exercise Instructor.

  • The All-Inclusive Group Fitness Instructor Certification Course includes self-study program resources, the hard cover textbook, the certification exam and retest, as well as access to fitness experts for $219 per student.
