Jim is originally from Syosset, New York but made the trek to Orlando to attend UCF earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. After a brief two year stint at the University of Louisville for Graduate School Jim returned to UCF to work after achieving his Master’s in Teaching focusing on Sports Administration. He tenure at UCF began as the Coordinator of IM Sports eventually working with way up to becoming Director of the RWC in 2007 and Executive Director in 2015 while expanding his portfolio and working more directly with our WHPS (Wellness and Health Promotion Services) team. Two highlights of his professional career was getting selected for the 2012 Gabor Award for UCF Employees and in 2019 getting selected for the NIRSA Region Two award of Merit for the entire southeast region.
Jim also enjoys refereeing NCAA College Basketball in several conferences including the Atlantic Sun, Sunshine State, and Gulf South and being honored to work several league championships and NCAA division two regionals. Additionally, he enjoys traveling including seeing a game in every major league park around Major League Baseball.
