To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all members of the Recreation and Wellness Center engaging in pool use.
To instruct students on how to learn to swim using the American Red Cross guidelines.
To provide and lead a positive and safe experience for trip participants in remote wilderness settings. The major focus of this position includes risk management, skills instruction, and community building, as well as accumulating the necessary skills through different staff trainings.
Manage all aspects of the Recreation and Wellness Center operations during open hours. Supervise on-duty student associates and all activities in the Recreation and Wellness Center.
Challenge Course Facilitators work to guide groups of individuals through activities and games in order to build teamwork, trust, and communication skills through a unique and exciting experience. Facilitators will help each group reach their individual goals through challenging activities that require teamwork, puzzles and thought-provoking games, and intentional guided conversations that allow participants to reflect on the meaning of their experience.
These programs will be facilitated in a high-ropes, low ropes, virtual, or mixed, setting depending on the preference of the group, and participants will be learning under the “Experiential Learning Cycle” and “Choose your Challenge” philosophies, which describe the way in which learning takes place and allows participants to decide their own level of engagement based on comfort level.
As a Challenge Course Facilitator, your own leadership style, interpersonal skills, problem solving ability, and technical skills, will be cultivated in an enjoyable, one-of-a-kind setting.
To provide supervision and safety training for all climbing tower users through customer service excellence. The major focus of this position includes risk management, belay skill competency and instruction, and climbing knowledge and proficiency.

The Sport Club Supervisor provides direction and support for club officers and members by serving as a liaison between sport clubs and the Sport Club Coordinator. They will be responsible for supervising and managing games/events as well as maintaining regular communication with club officers. Manages critical incidents as necessary and performs special duties as assigned. Sport Club Supervisors should have flexible evening and weekend hours.
To provide a positive and quality experience while on shift. As an admin office assistant, you will be the front line for our customers. You will be providing excellent customer service to all patrons, which include UCF students, faculty/staff, and guests.
To assist the RWC facility scheduler with reservation requests and event management duties. This position will serve in an office environment providing customer service in-person, online and over the phone.
Fitness Attendants are primarily responsible for providing a clean, safe and helpful workout environment for the users of the Recreation and Wellness Center, as well as provide assistance to those working out. Additionally, Fitness Attendants will be responsible for cleaning assigned areas and assisting with Fitness Orientations when needed.
Group Exercise Instructors are primarily responsible for conducting effective group fitness classes, educating patrons on basic fitness knowledge and maintaining a safe and enjoyable workout environment for class participants.
