UCF Fitness: Power Lifting Workshop

UCF OA: Vegas Knight Fall Climbing Competition
Test your climbing and poker skills as you earn cards for each successful top rope or bouldering route. Event Date: Sunday, Sept. 30th. Registration begins at 12pm!
UCF Sport Clubs: Taekwondo UCF Self Defense Class
Learn techniques such as striking, grappling, and blocking. Classes will be held on Sept. 26th, Oct. 24th, and Nov. 14th from 5-6:30pm in the RWC Multipurpose room.
UCF Outdoor Adventure: ASL Friendly Hiking Trip
Cost: $15 - Enjoy a wonderful day with Outdoor Adventure hiking and exploring in the Central Florida area on this ASL friendly hike!
UCF Outdoor Adventure: Paddlefest
Free food, shirts, and a day full of outdoor activites at Lake Claire. Event date 9/22. Show up and register the day of the event.
UCF Outdoor Adventure: Scuba Certification
Come learn the fundamental knowledge and skills to safely SCUBA dive in open water with our SCUBA Certification Class! Cost: $275
UCF Fitness: Cultural Dance Series I: Bachata
Enjoy a night of learning and dancing with the help of the Latin Student Association at the RWC! This class will begin at 7:15pm on Wednesday, Sept. 19th.
UCF Outdoor Adventure: Patagonia Backpacking Trip
Enjoy a week-long backpacking trip through the beautiful Patagonia National Park in Chile with our experienced trip leaders on Dec. 10th - 19th for $975! Food, lodging, and gear are included.

Welcome to the RWC!

The UCF Recreation and Wellness Center (RWC) comprises many programs, such as Intramural Sports, Sport Clubs, Outdoor Adventure, Fitness, and Aquatics. The RWC is open to all students; paid memberships are available for non-students. The RWC offers a vast array of state-of-the-art facilities, includes a custom climbing wall, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, a disc golf course, numerous intramural sports fields, a leisure pool, and an outdoor lap pool.

Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation

The RWC values the provision of quality programs and services that are accessible to the UCF community. We are continuously searching for new equipment and developing recreational programs that create an inclusive environment.



The Recreation and Wellness Center has two pools: a leisure pool and an outdoor lap pool. The Aquatics program offers swim lessons, lifeguard tryouts, and SCUBA certifications.



The RWC Fitness Program is comprised of six areas: Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation & Assisted Workout, Fitness Assessment, Fitness Orientations, Group Exercise, Personal Training, and Fitness Programs


Intramural Sports

Intramural Sports (IM Sports) offers the opportunity to participate in a variety of team, dual, and individual sports.


Outdoor Adventure

Outdoor Adventure is a program compromised of five main areas: Adventure Trips, the Challenge Course, Equipment Rentals, Climbing Tower and Lake Claire.


Regional Recreation

The Recreation and Wellness Center is pleased to partner with the Student Government Association, Student Outreach Services and Regional Campus Administration offices to extend our services to students on the Regional Campuses.


Risk Management

The Recreation and Wellness center offers Athletic Training services, First Aid and CPR Classes, and other helpful tools to keep you safe.


Sport Clubs

Sport Clubs are Registered Student Organizations that exist to promote and develop interest in a particular sport activity. Interests may be competitive, recreational, instructional or any combination of the three.

Participation in Recreation and Wellness Center programs is completely voluntary. Individuals participate at their own risk and assume responsibility for their own health and safety. The University of Central Florida and the Recreation and Wellness Center are not liable for injuries sustained during participation in a Recreation and Wellness Center sponsored activity. It is strongly recommended that all participants consult a physician and/or have a physical exam prior to participation. The University of Central Florida does not provide personal accident/health insurance. Therefore, participants are urged to secure their own insurance. You may suffer physical and/or mental injury from participating in these activities.
