Assistant Director | Outdoor Adventure 407-823-2408 Katherine.Rocco@ucf.edu Katherine was raised in Ocean Springs, a small town on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Environmental Studies from the University of Mississippi. She went on to compete her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Mississippi, where she worked as the Graduate Assistant for Ole Miss Outdoors. Following graduation, Katherine served as the first female Wilderness Therapist at Oxford Treatment Center in Etta, Mississippi before deciding to rejoin campus recreation at UCF. In her free time, Katherine enjoys exploring Florida’s outdoors with her husband and dogs and looking up dream homes on Zillow. < Back
