Leah Freeman

A proud native of Columbus, Ohio, Leah is an alumna of the University of Central Florida, graduating in Spring 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, Art and Commerce, complemented by a minor in Sociology. Throughout her academic journey at UCF, Leah emerged as a notable student leader, holding various impactful positions. She worked as the Office Assistant for UCF’s Office of Civil Discourse & Engagement, where her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion flourished. Her responsibilities included spearheading diversity programs, creating initiatives, developing marketing strategies, and providing support to minority students. Post-graduation, Leah assumed the role of Executive Coordinator at the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida, emerging as a advocate for the black economy. Her efforts were instrumental in providing resources towards entrepreneurial success within the community. Driven by an unwavering passion for marketing, Leah transitioned to the role of Marketing & Communications Manager at the RWC – overseeing all marketing efforts related to the center. In her free time, Leah enjoys watching cooking shows, shopping, and hanging out with friends.
