Orlando, FL (January 10, 2024) The Esports Club at UCF, the official Sport Club dedicated to competitive gaming, proudly boasts teams across eight distinct esports titles, each achieving remarkable success at the peak of collegiate competition. Their prowess is evident through the capture of not just one but two national championships in recent events.

The initial championship unfolded in Valorant during the NACE Starleague Open Premier, where the Valorant team triumphed over formidable opponents such as Winthrop University. Their ultimate achievement materialized in a significant victory against Ball State in the Grand Finals, earning the team a well-deserved $2,500 prize.

Following this tournament, UCF’s Esports continued their winning streak, clinching a second national championship in Rainbow 6 Siege during the NACE Starleague Open Premier. The R6 team showcased their skill by prevailing over collegiate powerhouse Fisher College in a thrilling Grand Finals match, also securing a $2,500 prize. These impressive victories underscore the Esports Club at UCF as a force to be reckoned with, exemplifying their dedication, skill, and dominance within the collegiate esports view.
