Alexis Pellegrino

Alexis was born and raised in Central Florida, where she developed a deep passion for sustainability advocacy. She also spent much of her time in Melbourne, Florida, immersing herself in the state’s unique ecology and learning about climate issues.

Alexis earned her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Central Florida (UCF). She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Environmental Sustainability. During her undergraduate years, Alexis discovered a love for rock climbing, which deepened her appreciation for the natural world and sparked a passion for teaching and community engagement.

Her mission is to create a welcoming, inclusive, diverse, and enriching environment for students, faculty, and the broader community.

In her free time, Alexis enjoys reading science fiction, practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, and diving into true crime stories.
